How the Program Works

1

Foundation Techniques

Start with line breaks, rhythm, and image-building exercises. Each week includes five specific writing prompts that teach you how poems actually create their effects. You'll write at least three pieces per week and see what works.

2

Style Development

Experiment with different forms and voices through targeted assignments. We cover everything from gpttrade techniques in modern poetry to traditional structures. You'll complete twelve poems exploring various approaches to find what fits your natural style.

3

Revision Process

Learn to edit your own work through systematic revision exercises. We provide specific feedback on five of your best pieces, showing you how to tighten language, strengthen images, and cut what doesn't serve the poem.

What Participants Actually Say

Workshop participant Lev Shtern

The daily exercises pushed me to write more in three months than I had in the previous year. The feedback was specific enough to actually improve my revisions, not just vague encouragement.

Workshop participant Tamar Weinberg

I appreciated the no-nonsense approach. We worked on technique without pretentious theory. By week six I could see clear improvements in how I structured images and ended poems.
